Eternal life, it is like the home for every Christian, for every person who boldly proclaim Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for everyone who is not ashamed of the good news of Christ, and for he who obeys and observes all the commandments laid down in the past.
The same God who said 'do not murder' also said do not commit adultery. James 2:11
If I break one law, it is as good as breaking every law. If I love all my brothers and sisters but hate one of them, I can consider myself a hypocrite.
I thought that I know much, but the more I know, the more the situation is like slapping my face as a declaration of my foolishness of understanding God's word.
What if I were to stand at the gate of heaven, and were asked why should I be allowed to enter His place of rest.
Songs are nice, rhythms are good, but my heart must be in tune with the Spirit of God.
How can I praise Him, the one whose name is the Holy One, while hatred fills my mind? Or, while I'm thinking what to eat later?
That's really bad, a lack of assurance of inheriting eternal life.
How can one understand the mind of God without consulting His word?
And how can one discerns the Spirit of God, unless he discerns the difference between the carnal mind which leads to the work of the flesh, and the Spirit, which leads to the work of the Spirit?
Is the pastor responsible in feeding me with Word of God, as good as daily bread, or, as precious as the air I breathe?
Our hearts are not too slow to realize. The responsibility of reading the Bible lays not in the pastor or leader or elder, nor the devotionals and spiritual reference books or online facebook verse.
Remember this verse? For whenever our treasure is, so also will our heart and soul be. Luke 12:34
Can we inherit eternal life as Jesus promised? We should know the answer perfectly well when we stand before the Son of Man, each one of us giving the account to God.

Do I understand that God walked with me through those trials to prepare me for a ministry to others? The tragedies of life often force me to cry out to God. I watch as He takes my situation to bring glory to Himself and blessings to me. It would be sad for me to hold bitterness against God and blame Him for what I endured early in life. Never forget that God loves me dearly and brought me through those trials so I can experience His deeper presence in my life. God spared me to have a life filled with joy in my salvation and to give me the purpose and meaning for which I may be searching. Am I consciously aware of the Father loving me? He is.
